In Brainstorm Topic Ideas: Read, Talk, Sketch, Enjoy, we learned ways to generate ideas for projects. They suggest searching online for websites surrounding an interest you have. In addition, the book tells that talking to someone may help generate new ideas that you can do or make a list of questions. The book also suggests if you struggling just free write. I find myself never being able to think of one until I just write and forget about everything else. I took away some new stratergies to pick my topic for my first project in this class. I find the best way to choose the topic is through talking to people. I have a hard time forming my ideas and being able to explain what I want to get out of it, but my friends questions allow me to clarify what I want to do. One of the biggest pet peeve of mine is not knowing answers to something I am passionate about. So, I want to create of lists of questions and pick the one that I don't know at all. I have not chosen my topic yet. I have thrown around some ideas about looking into how fitness and being apart of a team is good for students and looking how can community services help with future success of life. In terms of fitness groups, I will look to see the data on how working out everyday benefits students. For community service, I want to look at the data on how being part of an this organization leads to transverable skills in life. I am still doing basic reasearch and I will choose soon.
